Amund Grøndahl Jansen, Norwegian cyclist joined up with the joining LottoNL-Jumbo team, which thus makes him one of the top talents in the UCI WorldTourto make his debut

The Norwegian cyclist who was born in 1994 has in the last few years, made a big impression. Some of his victories in the 2016 season include overall victories in the Tour de Girondeand the ZLM Roompot Tour.

In 2013 with the Team Plussbank, Jansen made his U23 debut. In 2015 however, he moved to Team Joker. And with the curtains drawn on his time as a youth rider, he is now ready to compete at the highest level.

Jansen who spoke during their teams training camp felt that he also possesses such characteristics typical of Norwegians, as he can do classics and equally sprint as well.

Velocio-SRAM Eyeing Success At Flanders Tour

Leading women’s cycling team Velocio-SRAM is gearing up to put up a successful fight at the upcoming Flanders Tour this Easter Sunday. The team would be striving hard to bag its 1st European victory this season.

The Velocio-SRAM participating for Tour Flanders include Barbara Guarischi, Karol-Ann Canuel, Tiffany Cromwell, Lisa Brennauer, Trixi Worrack & Alena Amialiusik.

Belarusian champ Alena Amialiusik would be striving hard to improve from her 5th place at Trofeo Binda Cup & flaunt the team colors with glory at the race front.

“We have experienced this course earlier & as is expected from Flanders, it’s a typical hard-fought race”, stated Amialisuik. “We’ve great players in our squad to play this race & I’m pretty confident that we would be able to improve our state from what was the previous week.”

The Belarusian rider couldn’t finish 2014 Flanders Tour given her 33rd position in 2013 yet her great results a 2nd Worlds this season & 7th position at the Strade Bianche, worked to boost up her confidence.

Shane Sutton confident about GB’s performance at 2016 Rio

While the Briton cycling enthusiasts are upset with GB’s no title in Track World, Shane Sutton is confident about a positive performance from the team at 2016 Rio Olympics.

According to the GB technical director, the team track cyclists are still able to “do business” the coming despite their no-gold status at Track World Championship for the 1st time in fourteen years.

However, Sutton has been realistic in his claims, stressing that the challenge ahead won’t be easy at all.
