You could have used the Trappers Hat with the Flaps down or else use a Balaclava hat covers your entire Head with only Slits for Eyes. That is extreme cold weather. We were lucky in Ireland last year we missed the extreme Cold completely.
This winter I ride fixed gear, a converted 80’s Crescent road bike so there are not too many parts that can freeze With studded tires and an extra panic break on rear wheel. Light gear, chain ring 42T and 19T cog, to keep my cadens up and legs warm. But cold really gets to you, got a bit scared last night.Had to eat loads of chocolate and fruit to get my energy levels up and my body working properly. I might be on the edge to over training.
Thanks Tim! Your comments are much appreciated! I got a bit scared last night, when I came to work I was not feeling too well. Had to eat loads of chocolate and fruit to get my energy levels up and my body working properly. So this morning I took a wise decision to ride my car home. Yes I park my car at work to use in these kinds of situations.
Cycling in about -20°C?? You must be a descendent of the Vikings for sure )
I saw on TV last night that there are very harsh and cold temperatures up in Scandinavia at the moment. Even down here in the south of Germany it started snowing again.
So keep warm and happy; and thanks for your good tips in the video, Tim

Are you and Ggreenvideos having some type of contest or something? First his sub-zero ‘winter hang’, and now you with this, lol.
Those are some dangerously low temps, be careful man.
